What is the ALCOA Eaglecam?

In 2010, Alcoa in Riverdale (just upstream from Bettendorf) installed a webcam overlooking a bald eagle nest and it soon ranked among the world’s 25 most visited web cam sites.

A pair of bald eagles in 2009 built their 7-foot nest in a tree along the Mississippi River, part of the 400-acre property owned by Alcoa, which operates the world's largest aluminum rolling mill nearby.
