Robb Ewoldt

Robb Ewoldt is a 5th generation farmer who farms in eastern Iowa, four miles north of the Mississippi River. He, his wife Jennifer and their two sons own and operate Rafter E Ranch - a diversified family farm producing corn, soybeans, alfalfa hay and cereal rye in addition to a cow-calf operation and contract feeder pig site. Robb has been active in many agricultural organizations: 9 years on Iowa Soybean Association holding all offices, 5 years on Soy Transportation Coalition, currently serving fourth year on the United Soybean Board, second year on the executive committee, and other county and state organizations including Iowa Farm Bureau. After taking over the family farm, Robb began converting conventional farming practices and equipment to more environmentally-friendly conservation practices. Robb tries to utilize the latest in farming technology and practices for row crop production and has been recognized for his efforts with the Wergin Good Farm Neighbor Award, Iowa Farm Environmental Leader Award, Advocate For Iowa Agriculture Award, Innovator in Product Research Award, and the Eddy Award for Stewardship from River Action of the Quad Cities. Robb and his family focus on both conservation and production as they continue to expand their farm operations in Scott and Muscatine counties in Iowa.
