Ted Kratschmer

Ted Kratschmer is a Sr. Source Water Protection Manager for American Water Company Covering Iowa and Illinois. He works as part of a team of professionals focused on delivering the public safe, reliable and affordable drinking water of high quality in part through mitigating risk of contamination to thesource of supply. Prior to joining American Water, Ted spent several years in environmental consulting with a strong emphasis on water monitoring and watershed management. Ted also spent over a decade working at a large river research center as an environmental scientist and program manager with an emphasis on water quality monitoring, watershed management, and nutrient reduction.
