
Valery Aguilar
Valery Aguilar, WEDG, is the waterfront design coordinator at Waterfront Alliance and provides business development and communication support for the WEDG® (Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines) program. Before joining Waterfront Alliance, Valery was involved in the housing world as a tenant advocate at Housing Conservation Coordinators in Hell’s Kitchen and a marketing intern at Pathways to Housing PA in Philadelphia. Valery holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science and urban studies from the University of Pennsylvania. During her undergraduate years, her coursework included metropolitan nature and inclusive cities, which sparked her interest in advocating for resilient, accessible, and ecological design at the water’s edge.
