LORRAINE FOELSKE
Lorraine Foelske is a Natural Areas Preservation Specialist with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. She covers nine counties including Rock Island County, protecting and caring for the natural gems of Illinois. A typical day on the job might be spent writing in the office or conducting a prescribed burn in the field. Prior to her position with the DNR, Lorraine worked in agricultural conservation at the Bureau County Soil and Water Conservation District. She received degrees from Augustana College and the University of Illinois.
