Tune Up for Taming


Tune Up for Taming is a series of training sessions for Taming of the Slough racers and FREE for the general public. Meet at the Bass Street YMCA in Moline to prepare for Taming of the Slough or join for fun to enjoy some time on the river and the off-road trails at Sylvan Island. Tune Up is a fun and loosely-structured event promoting adventure sports in the Quad Cities. You do not need to be registered for Taming of the Slough in order to participate in the Tune Up sessions. Please bring your own kayak or canoe to Tune Up.


Sessions are held from 5:30-7pm the three Thursdays before the event. Bass St. YMCA is located at 1701 1st Ave in Moline, IL.
