WHAT TO WEAR

Dress for the weather. Wear your Floatzilla T-shirt, shorts, and comfortable shoes. You may wish to bring a hat, something cool to drink, and wear sunscreen. It can be quite warm and sunny.

ASSIGNMENTS AND CONFIRMATIONS

Volunteers will receive confirmation of your assignment, date and time, and an orientation will be scheduled for volunteers where T-shirts will be distributed.

IMPORTANT!

If you find you cannot volunteer for Floatzilla after signing up, please call ahead to tell organizers you won't be able to help. The number is 563-322-2969.
Volunteers helping in the launch, loading/unloading areas, and portaging MUST be able to lift 40 to 50 pounds as they will be assisting with unloading, launching and loading kayaks and canoes.

Volunteer times listed are for Friday, Aug. 16 and Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024.
