The only public access point to the park is off Loud Thunder Road.
SITE AMENITIES
Visitors are welcome throughout the Martin Conservation area. Currently, no designated trail system exists. Visitors can walk the boundaries of the prairie in the pathways that have been mowed.

SITE CHARACTERISTICS
The Martin Conservation area is part of the ecologically significant Milan Bottoms and offers many natural and cultural resources, including 170 acres of native woodlands, 25 acres of tall-grass prairie, 41 acres of cool season grasses legume habitat, and diverse wildlife. The site also has 64 acres enrolled in the USDA Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) managed for wildlife; 4,360 feet of gravel bottom stream; soil erosion control practices including a grade stabilization structure, grassed waterways and stream bank stabilization; 2 acres of direct seeded hardwood trees; 5 acres of mixed shrub plantings; and 22 acres of tall-grass prairie restoration.
