PARKING/ACCESS
17 miles west of Davenport or 8 miles east of Muscatine on state Highway 22. One mile from Iowa Highway 22 to mill parking lot.

SITE AMENITIES
Recreational trails, picnic and camping facilities, one-room schoolhouse and tours of historic mill

HOURS
Mill open Wednesday through Sunday in June-August. Interpretive tours available 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays, May to early October

Wildcat Den 5K Trail Run/Walk held and Heritage Day held in September

SITE CHARACTERISTICS
White pine plantation, canyons, sandstone formations, unique botany. The mill was built in 1848. It is the oldest working mill in Iowa and one of the oldest working mills west of the Mississippi River.
