17 miles west of Davenport or 8 miles east of Muscatine on state Highway 22. One mile from Iowa Highway 22 to mill parking lot.

Mill open Wednesday through Sunday in June-August. Interpretive tours available 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays, May to early October

SITE CHARACTERISTICS
White pine plantation, canyons, sandstone formations, unique botany. The mill was built in 1848. It is the oldest working mill in Iowa and one of the oldest working mills west of the Mississippi River.
